I always love these kinds of images with our favorite cartoon characters, especially with ones that have ended. They always feel like an epilogue, what they're doing after the adventure is over. It's grounded so it gives us this nostalgic relatability like, "I've been there. I've done that." The show did the heavy work but images like this feel bitter sweet, which I think helps with the lo-fi. They were our escape in the past, and now they're here to help us get through the tough times. Lo-fi and cartoons are a beautiful mixture for our generation, and hopefully for the next with their favorites growing up.
These days are my first days tending to the sick in a hospital ward as a nursing student , I still feel quite lost there but I know me helping those people makes the world for them , After school I just brew myself some nice tea , listen to lofi and then I nap for a few hours , I still return to this playlist quite often having heard it for the first time 2 years ago , listening to it now just takes me back to a different time
